Project Management

FS Medical Technology senior engineers help facility owners plan new installations, remodels, replacements and upgrades of medical gas equipment.  Outside contractor trades including plumbing and electrical are coordinated for turnkey project completion.  If OSHPD approval is required, FSMT provides architectural consultants to prepare required drawings and specifications.  Pre-construction meetings with OSHPD staff minimize the potential of project delays.

Preconstruction Consulting

Plan review services assist clients evaluate preliminary designs to establish sizing, placement and compliance with NFPA 99 requirements.  Particular attention can be focused at tie-ins to existing services and the often unique aspects of renovation projects.  FSMT engineers understand medical gas construction requirements and can assist clients with limited experience in pneumatic design.

Training

FSMT conducts training programs for professional engineers, mechanical contractors and facility planners covering design, maintenance and construction topics.  These classes are also available to professional societies and engineering consultants.

Specification Review

Plan specification review services are available to assist clients evaluate proper equipment recommendations by medical gas manufacturers.  Eliminating outdated specifications reduces contention between trades and ensures specifications meet current NFPA requirements.

On Site Quality Assurance

During construction activities, FSMT verifiers provide quality assurance reviews of installer work and brazing techniques. These inspections often identify items which can be corrected prior to wall closing allowing reduced corrective action costs.
